A small thing that saves a lot of cleaning
Incense burns for twenty to thirty minutes and drops ash the whole way. Without a proper stand the ash lands on the mandir shelf, the idols and the cloth, and daily puja turns into daily wiping.

- Solid brass with traditional finish
- Ash-catching tray along the length of the stand
- Angled holder so ash falls into the tray, not past it
- Takes standard agarbatti and, on the tray, dhoop cones and sambrani
How to use it
- Insert the plain end of the agarbatti into the holder so the stick sits at a slight angle over the tray.
- Light the tip, let it flame briefly, then blow the flame out so it glows and smokes.
- For dhoop cones or sambrani, place them directly on the tray rather than in the holder.
- Empty and wipe the tray once it has cooled.
Caring for brass
- Wipe dry after each use to remove ghee, oil and camphor residue.
- Clean weekly with tamarind pulp, lemon and salt, or a mild brass cleaner.
- Dry fully before returning it to the mandir — trapped moisture causes spotting.
- Brass darkens naturally into a patina. Many households polish only before Diwali.
