- Deity offering — offered as arghya and used to wash the murti’s feet in shodashopachara puja
- Guest welcome — sprinkled on guests at weddings and ceremonies
- Prasad and bhog — a few drops added to sweets and kheer
Details
- 100 ml gulab jal
- Natural rose fragrance
- Sealed bottle
- Ritual grade
How to use
- For abhishek, pour a small quantity over the murti or Shivling in sequence with the other offerings.
- For purification, sprinkle with the fingers or with a few durva or mango leaves.
- Pour rather than dip — keep fingers and used vessels out of the bottle.
- Reseal after each use.
Storage
Keep sealed in a cool, dark place. Rose water loses fragrance in heat and sunlight, and an opened bottle left warm goes flat within weeks.
