How to dress Thakur Ji

1. Perform the abhishek first — the murti is bathed before being dressed.
2. Dry gently with a soft, clean cloth kept only for this purpose.
3. Dress in the poshak, then place the mukut.
4. Apply chandan tilak, offer tulsi, flowers and the bhog.
5. Handle the murti with washed hands, and keep the used poshak washed separately from household laundry.

Sizing

Laddu Gopal murtis are sold by numbered sizes, and poshak must match the murti. Measure your murti’s height before ordering, and contact us if you are unsure which size you need — a poshak that does not fit cannot be worn.
