One thali, the whole aarti

Daily aarti works best when everything sits in one place. A proper puja thali set means the diya, bell, incense and offerings are laid out and ready — not gathered from four corners of the mandir each morning.

What the set includes

  • Brass puja thali with traditional engraved border
  • Diya for the aarti flame
  • Ghanti (bell) to open and close the puja
  • Agarbatti stand for incense
  • Small offering bowls for roli, kumkum, akshat and naivedya

Why brass

Brass is the traditional metal of the Hindu mandir. It holds heat safely for camphor and ghee aarti, does not warp, and develops a deeper tone with age. Unlike steel or aluminium, it is considered ritually appropriate for direct contact with offerings.

How to care for it

  1. Wipe with a dry cloth after each aarti to remove ghee and camphor residue.
  2. Clean weekly with tamarind pulp, lemon and salt, or a mild brass cleaner.
  3. Dry fully before returning it to the mandir — trapped moisture is what causes spotting.
  4. Brass darkens naturally over time. Many households prefer this patina and polish only before festivals.

Ideal for

Daily home aarti, Diwali and Lakshmi puja, Ganesh Chaturthi, Navratri, satsang and bhajan gatherings, and as a griha pravesh or wedding gift.

About Advik Rituals

We are based in Sigra, Varanasi (Kashi). We curate puja items and complete kits so families can perform rituals correctly without hunting for individual samagri.

Yes. Brass develops a natural patina with use. Many households prefer it and polish only before festivals such as Diwali.

It is one of the most common griha pravesh and wedding gifts in Indian households, as every home mandir uses a thali daily.
