When to perform Rudrabhishek

This kit is suited to Sawan Somvar, Mahashivratri, Pradosh Vrat, Monday Shiv puja, and daily Mahadev worship at home. It is equally used for temple rituals and given as a spiritual gift.

How to use this kit

1. Bathe and prepare a clean space facing north or east; place the Parad Shivling on the brass Jalpatra.
2. Take the sankalp using the red cloth, akshat and water.
3. Perform the abhishek in sequence — gangajal, panchamrit (milk, curd, ghee, honey, mishri), then gangajal again.
4. Offer belpatra, dhatura, madar, chandan, bhasm and akshat while chanting the Rudra mantras.
5. Light the deep and dhoop, offer naivedya, and close with aarti and pushpanjali.
