Why Tulsi puja deserves a proper kit
Tulsi is the holiest plant in Hindu tradition — worshipped as a goddess, kept at the centre of the courtyard or balcony, and offered water and a lamp each morning. It is one of the few rituals a household performs every single day.
That daily rhythm is exactly why it breaks. The kumkum runs out, the wicks finish, the diya is misplaced, and the practice quietly lapses. This kit exists to keep the ritual going.

How to perform Tulsi puja at home
- Bathe, then clean the area around the Tulsi plant and the Tulsi vrindavan.
- Offer fresh water from the kalash at the root — traditionally done in the morning, after sunrise.
- Apply kumkum or haldi tilak to the Tulsi vrindavan.
- Offer flowers and the garland.
- Light the ghee diya and incense, and perform aarti at dusk.
- Recite the Tulsi stotra from the enclosed card and complete with pranam.
When Tulsi puja is performed
Daily, morning and evening, in most households. It carries special significance during Kartik month, on Tulsi Vivah, and on Ekadashi. Tulsi leaves are also offered in Vishnu and Krishna worship, and in Satyanarayan puja.
A note on Tulsi tradition
By custom, Tulsi leaves are not plucked on Ekadashi, Sundays, or after sunset, and the plant is watered rather than the leaves washed. The vidhi card covers these observances so the ritual is kept correctly.
