How to Perform Vyapar Vriddhi Puja

1. Clean the shop, office or business premises thoroughly on the morning of the puja.
2. Place the Ganesh–Lakshmi murti set and the Kuber Yantra on the red cloth, facing east or north.
3. Establish the copper kalash with gangajal, supari, coin and akshat; place a coconut over it.
4. Read the sankalp sheet aloud, naming your business, your name and gotra, and the growth you seek.
5. Offer tilak, kalava, paan, supari, clove and cardamom. Place the gomti chakra and kaudi before the yantra.
6. Light the brass diyas and dhoop; offer panchmeva, makhana and mishri as naivedya.
7. Perform the havan with the samagri, samidha and guggal, offering into the fire with each mantra.
8. Worship the bahi khata, apply the swastik stickers at the entrance, cash counter and safe, and close with aarti.
9. Keep the Kuber Yantra, gomti chakra and kaudi in the cash box or safe afterwards.

When to Perform It

The strongest occasions are Diwali and Dhanteras, the first day of a new financial year, Akshaya Tritiya, Gudi Padwa or the regional new year, and the launch or expansion of a business.
